~Baby Shower Cupcakes~

I is for Izabella
These darling little cakes were made for my sister Emily's friend Jen. She is having a baby girl to be named Izabella (not sure on the spelling). I did not make the fondant tops, I ordered them on Etsy.com because the larger size of the order, I was not confident enough to do my own...but now that I've seen them I think I could make them...not as well but practice makes perfect! They are all chocolate cupcakes with either chocolate or vanilla bean butter cream frosting. I love the look of the over all cupcake and maybe soon I can display some of my own fondant work.

These are Chocolate and Vanilla Bean cupcakes made for two wonderful girls I know. It's their birthday party today! Happy Birthday Maura and Emma!! xoxo

Vanilla Bean Cupcake with Chocolate Butter Cream

Chocolate cupcakes with Vanilla Butter Cream turned purple...really purple!

Sixlets that Hobby Lobby sells in bulk sizes in many different colors

I went with brown for these cupcakes....

The frosting in the mixer was kind of shocking...glad it was more subtle on the cupcakes

~Mocha Cupcakes with Vanilla Bean Butter Cream~

Coffee at it's best! Mocha cupcakes with rich espresso and creamy Vanilla bean frosting. It's pretty much the perfect cup of coffee :) I made these for my sister Megan who is a coffee lover as well. I adorned the top with a single coffee bean. These cupcakes had to travel a bit but they made it in one piece. They were my very first cupcake request! And so it began....

Pretty pink liners fancied them up a little more. Not that they needed it.

Thank you Meg for believing in me!

xoxo
