~Rubber Stamps on Fondant~

So easy to do and so fun. I love buying rubber stamps, despite their cost. And they work so well on gum paste and fondant it's almost a crime to charge people for the work. But someones gotta pay for those stamps! Here is a small collection of cupcakes I've fancied up with the work of a simple rubber stamp.

Merci!

Simple stamp...gorgeous cupcake!

~Fondant~

Fondant is officially my friend. It took me a while to come around but I do like working with fondant. It's messy at times and dries out pretty fast but it can make for some really pretty decorations. Here are a few fondant decorated cupcakes...I realize there is a craft to this and I am slowly getting better. Slowly. :) But I am open to trying anything.

I like the look of layering them too. But no pics yet of that.

~Pound Cake filled with Chocolate Ganache & Browned Butter Cream Frosting~

These gorgeous little cakes couldn't have turned out better! The cake part is a Martha Stewart recipe that can be found in her book "Martha Stewart's Cupcakes" on page 270 "Pound Cake". They aren't extremely sweet cakes but simple and perfect if you want to add sugary frosting or toppings. I filled each cake with chocolate ganache then topped with browned butter cream. I fancied them up with multi colored fondant hearts. They are almost too pretty to eat...almost. ; )

So sweet.
